About Tallow & Bloom

Founder Story

Tallow & Bloom started from something really personal: my family and our struggles with dry skin.

For as long as I can remember, dry skin was a constant issue in my family. I dealt with it myself. My sister had those little bumps on the backs of her arms. Some of my older relatives, especially the ones with diabetes, struggled with cracked, stubbornly dry skin on their feet that never seemed to heal.

One family member in particular had been dealing with this for years. At first, the idea of using beef fat on skin sounded strange to her. But she gave my whipped tallow a try, and to her surprise, her skin softened and started healing in a way she didn’t think was possible.

Seeing that change lit something in me. I have always loved beauty and wellness, but this made me realize how powerful simple, natural ingredients can be. Skincare does not need to be complicated. It should work, and if it can feel a little special and luxurious while doing that, even better.

I began making small batches of whipped tallow cream at home. First it was just for my family, then friends wanted some, and soon word spread. The results spoke for themselves: softer, smoother skin and the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly what is in the jar.

That is how Tallow & Bloom came to life. At the heart of it, it is not just about skincare, it is about self-care. It is about giving your skin what it actually needs, without the extra stuff. Every jar is made with love, intention, and the hope that it helps someone else the way it has helped my family.
